ThumbnailLife is not at all as bad as it may seem. We just need to have a second look and we will realise that we have more than enough. We sometimes think too much of what we don't have that we lose sight of what we already have...

Filipino Soldiers' Benefits

http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/vie... is/02/13/09/us-stimulus-package-provision-wwii-filipino -veterans-atty-mike-templo

Filipino soldiers who served for the US Armed Services in WWII are finally getting their wages from the so-called stimulus package. So sad that so many of them died already. There's a lot more to say, both good and bad, but at least it's here.

Guys,
I’m taking a poll. It’s for my philosophy major at Rutgers University.
Here they are:
1.) Where you bored in elementary school?
2.) Where you bored in high school?
3.) As accurately as you can remember, do you attribute that boredom to yourself?
4.) Broadly speaking, do you attribute that boredom to the teaching faculty’s inability to teach their subjects? (I understand that you may like certain teachers, however, this question is meant to access the performance of teaching staff generally provided for in public education. It doesn’t matter if you were educated in the United States or overseas.)
5.) Do you feel that your public education is worth thousands of “dollars” paid over the course of 10-12 years?
6.) Do you feel that all of the years of public education that you received were necessary?
7.) Do you feel that your public school education was too easy?

Thanks guys. These are all “yes” or “no” answers. Please don’t figure any pleasant things you may recall when you took “boy-ology” or “girl-ology” in grade school. Lastly, you can either pm me or send your answer to my quest book.

Thanks again and have a great new year!

aL
